Amanda Kyne is an articulate and warm presenter who has a great ability to learn scripts quickly and deliver them naturally. Her background in journalism and television production gives her an understanding of what makes a good interview, a good shoot and an audience pleasing presentation.
Amanda has remained dedicated to the welfare of abandoned Nepali children since she first visited the country in 2004. Compelled to establish a home for these children before returning to NZ, Amanda insisted education be a key part of the home’s values. With university qualifications behind her, she is well aware of the positive influence education and knowledge has played in her life. Her love for the Nepali people sees her making annual visits to the orphanage, keeping in daily contact with the staff via email and skype and frequently speaking to schools/groups/clubs about her cause. Amanda is responsible for raising funds and maintaining contact with sponsors, all on a voluntary basis.
As well as experience in presenting and writing, Amanda also does voiceover work on a regular basis.
