Vida Gibson is an interdisciplinary performer, creator and healer. She has trained across multiple disciplines including dance, theatre and Jazz singing and composition. She has co-devised and performed in Positive Deviance’s ‘Shabbat Shallom’, created her Solo show ‘Women and Water’, created and scored her original film ‘HA YA!’ as well as several other independent and collaborative productions across music, theatre and film. Vida has spent extensive time studying with healers in Aotearoa and beyond to fuel her understanding and passion for creating art and live events/rituals that reconnect us with ourselves, our essence, each other and aroha with a particular focus on the vibration of sound.
